This tournament will be round-robin: a competition in which each contestant meets every other participant, usually in turn.

Tournament System:

• Players will be split into groups of 4 by level
• After 3 rounds, each group will have 1 winner
• Everyone who did not win in their respective groups go on to the consolation bracket the next day, single elimination styled
• Winners of the initial groups will go off against each other in another round robin

Game rules:

• Top rank - bottom rank - 1 for handicap
• Chinese rules (7.5 komi)
• Played on OGS
• Byo-yomi time: 45 minutes main time, 5 periods of 30 seconds afterward
• Handicap

Prize Money:

• $120 For 1st place
• $40 For each first-group winners
• $20 For consolation bracket winner
